With a team of 8 radiation oncologists, 7 dosimetrists, 9 physicists, and  14 radiation therapists, Tampa General treats over 1000 patients annually making automation and precision more important than ever. Each morning, as the sun rises over Tampa General Hospital, Ashley is already at work—crafting precise, compassionate treatment plans with expert care. But once the lab coat comes off, she trades radiation plans for rays of sunshine —soaking up Florida life with bike rides, beach days, and anything that keeps her moving under the open sky.

Fun fact that no-one else knows about you: "Here’s a cool one: my mom literally pioneered the Radiation Therapy and Medical Dosimetry Programs at the University of Cincinnati—she was the Program Director for nearly her entire career! Growing up, “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” meant hanging out in the radiation department. Talk about having dosimetry in my DNA!"

Favorite Food: "Give me any kind of pasta, and I’m in heaven! From creamy Alfredo to classic marinara, pasta is my ultimate comfort food—always a delicious crowd-pleaser."

Favorite holidays: For me, it’s simple — wherever my extended family is, that’s my favorite place to be! We love big family vacations, and no matter the destination, having everyone together is what makes it truly special

With three energetic boys (ages 8, 7, and 5) and sunny Tampa, FL as their backyard, life outside of work is anything but quiet! This family is always on the go—whether it’s hitting the beach, exploring parks, biking around town, or splashing in the pool. If it involves fresh air and movement, they’re all in!
