Clinical Showcase: AAPM Abstracts Featuring Radformation Software
Poster presentations from AAPM/COMP 2020 annual meeting featuring clinical results using Radformation software.
As cancer care becomes more complex and multi-system environments grow more common, radiation oncology clinics need tools that are flexible, interoperable, and built to scale. Vendor neutrality empowers clinics with the freedom to streamline workflows, improve consistency, and deliver high-quality care, regardless of the systems they use.
In radiation oncology, the best technology isn’t just powerful, it’s flexible too. The most effective tools are those that adapt to the clinic’s needs, integrate seamlessly into existing systems, and enhance patient care without adding complexity. Yet historically, software in our field has been tightly bound to specific hardware purchases, limiting clinic choice and customization. As a result, many teams are left navigating inefficient workflows, duplicate data entry, and avoidable risks to patient safety, all because their software can’t flex to fit the way they work.

Radiation therapy (RT) plays a critical role in cancer treatment as it’s required in at least half of all cases. Yet global access to RT remains highly unequal, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where limited infrastructure and resources prevent millions from receiving potentially life-saving care.

And while equipment is essential, estimates suggest 20,000 new linear accelerators will be needed by 2035, the greater challenge lies in workforce capacity. The shortage of trained professionals and scalable workflows continues to be the most significant barrier to delivering timely, high-quality radiation therapy.
To bridge this growing gap, automation, efficiency, and productivity are no longer optional; they're essential.
Radformation: Automation for All
At Radformation, our mission has always been to elevate radiation oncology through intelligent automation, intuitive design, and a strong foundation in clinical quality and safety. Since our founding in 2016, we’ve remained focused on solving the challenges our founders experienced firsthand with workflow inefficiencies, variability in care, and limited time for clinicians to focus on patients.
Our solutions are designed to streamline complex tasks, harness the power of AI and automation, and enable fast, consistent, high-quality care.
For us, vendor neutrality isn’t just a feature, it’s a guiding principle. We believe clinics should be empowered to choose the best technologies for their teams and their patients, without being constrained by system compatibility. That freedom is what allows innovation to thrive and care to improve everywhere.
Vendor-Neutral Solutions in Action
EZFluence has earned the trust of clinics for its ability to automate 3D planning with speed, consistency, and quality, all in just minutes. Now available for Eclipse, RayStation, and Monaco, EZFluence brings a unified planning experience to multi-vendor environments, allowing clinics to maintain the same high standards across all systems. By extending support across the industry’s leading treatment planning systems, Radformation reinforces its commitment to vendor neutrality and clinical flexibility. No matter which TPS your team uses, EZFluence helps you deliver fast, reliable, and consistent 3D plans without compromise.
ClearCheck is a powerful, one-click plan evaluation solution that streamlines clinical review with automated constraint checks, rapid plan comparisons, and instant ARIA/PDF documentation. Built to save time and improve consistency, ClearCheck supports the implementation of TG-275 standards, helping clinics standardize and simplify plan evaluation across the board. With support available via scripting integration for Eclipse, RayStation, and Monaco, and DICOM-based workflows for other TPS platforms, ClearCheck offers the flexibility to fit into any department, making it easier than ever to deliver efficient, high-quality plan reviews across diverse systems.
ClearCalc streamlines treatment plan verification with fast, independent secondary dose calculations and an intuitive, user-friendly interface. Designed to support both routine and complex clinical scenarios, ClearCalc ensures accuracy and confidence in every plan. As with ClearCheck, it integrates via scripting for Eclipse, RayStation, and Monaco, and offers DICOM compatibility for other treatment planning systems. Beyond secondary calculations, ClearCalc also supports patient-specific QA through log file analysis, and includes RadMonteCarlo, providing gold-standard Monte Carlo verification, all within one seamless, vendor-neutral platform.
A Unified Ecosystem
Each Radformation tool is built with one purpose: to save clinicians time while improving consistency and accuracy. That’s why our tools are built to integrate seamlessly with all major vendors, ensuring that automation enhances your workflow instead of complicating it.
